Having splashed paint over the Suva Point Police Post, CQU students and staff continued their local area beautification campaign by running around the nearby beach on Saturday morning collecting various items of academic interest.

Australia Day festivities were continued on the campus with a sports team competition, a BBQ and a rousing rendition of "Advance Australia Fair", performed by a group of jolly swagmen.
